Finished last rebuild before surgery at the end of last month
Planned for April to be a month to catch up on administrative stuff/cleaning shop/winding down
Custom brought a Martin D-28 Marquis for refret and a Deering 6-string banjo for setup work
- Now he wants me to work on a bunch of other guitars
  - good, but I need to set expectations
Did taxes as a business owner for the first time
- Unlike last year's debacle, we've already received our return
Coming up in May
- Coworker wants me to do some small work on his guitar
- Potential customer with vintage Martin "collapsing in front of the bridge"
- Clean up shop
Heart surgery update
- Surgery is scheduled for July 29th
- Still have to decide which type of replacement valve I want (leaning towards mechanical if the valve-sparing procedure doesn't work out)
- Not planning to take on any new jobs in July (and only small stuff until then)

April was slow
Yoga business is about to become really slow for the summer while Ellen covers extra parenting duties (her husband works at a summer camp).

- will have more time for it after son's teeball season ends

Got EIN and business bank account
Set up her Squarespace shop
Still working on the "Secret Sewing" pattern for a publication next year
- might be able to share more details at the end of the summer
Selected for a collaboration on a free sampler quilt
- will help to meet some other designers

- improve website SEO
- don't take on anything else until after Steven's surgery
